Pinnacle Racing Stable and trainer Bill Kaplan’s 20-1 longshot Musical Romance pulled away on the inside in the stretch to take the $909,000 Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (gr. I) Nov. 4 at Churchill Downs (VIDEO) .
Switch and Her Smile came charging late on the far outside, but Musical Romance (by Concorde's Tune) won by 1 ¼ lengths, covering the seven furlongs in 1:23.47 under jockey Juan Leyva.... More Here

Switch and Her Smile Came charging late, but Musical Romance (by Concorde's Tune) won by 1 ¼ lengths, covering the seven furlongs in 1:23.47 under jockey Juan Leyva.
Switch edged Her Smile by a head for third. It was another 2 ½ lengths farther back to Pomeroys Pistol. Favored Turbulent Descent finished fifth after a troubled trip that included getting squeezed at the start. More Here

Musical Romance rallied along the rail to complete an improbable career comeback in the $909,000 Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint (G1) on Friday at Churchill Downs.
The four-year-old Concorde’s Tune filly nearly saw her career come to an end before she ever raced when she cracked her pastern on her second day of training shortly after being purchased at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. April sale of two-year-olds in training. But she recuperated from that injury and at odds of 20.20-to-1 earned her trainer and co-owner Bill Kaplan and jockey Juan Leyva their first trip to a Breeders’ Cup World Championships winner’s circle. Musical Romance pulled off a 20-1 upset in the $1 million Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint on Friday at Churchill Downs.
Breeders' Cup rookie Juan Leyva guided the 4-year-old through an opening on the rail to her ninth win in 33 starts. It was also the first BC win for trainer Bill Kaplan in three tries, and it came with his first starter in the world championships since 1995. More Here
