LIVINGSTON STREET GETS GRADED PLACED IN THE "CALDER DERBY"
10/17/09
HOUSE
Livingston Street, ridden by Manny Cruz, just missed winning the Grade Three Calder Derby. Livingston Street settled into 6th place going into the first turn of the 1 1/8 mile "Calder Derby. Manny Cruz kept Livingston Street down on the hedge until the stretch. Bottled up turning for home, Manny Cruz was finally able to clear Livingston Street to the outside at the 1/8 pole. Once in the clear, Livingston Street unleashed a furious drive to wire. Gaining with every stride, Livingston Street got up for third, missing the win by only 3/4 of a length.
Jim and Teresa Remez were very happy with their improving Livingston Street. David and Teresa Palmer were equally thrilled as Livingston Street provided their Sire Mr. Livingston with his first graded placed offspring.
Congratulations to all the connections on the Great performance of Grade 3 placed LIVINGSTON STREET.
