Jim and Teresa Remez's Livingston Street powered through the stretch to win going away. Jockey Manny Cruz had all the confidence in his mount and waited till the quarter pole to turn Livingston Street loose. When the inside opened up turning for home, Livingston Street exploded past the leaders to win easily by 1 3/4 lengths.
Livingston Street, a striking grey, is developing into a serious grass horse like his sire Mr. Livingston. Livingston Street has gained all three of his wins on the grass. However this does not mean that he can't handle dirt as well--time will tell.
Livingston Street has provided Jim and Teresa Remez with a wonderful entrance into thoroughbred racing and we all hope he develops into the enduring stakes performer his sire was.
